Senior Fullstack Engineer (Observability)

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to improve the Postman Insights product and build new AI-powered features.
• Own fullstack development for feature improvements and new feature prototypes, driving the initial development of substantial features.
• Work directly with users to improve the Postman Insights experience, ensuring that product features address their needs effectively.
• AI is the Wild West right now! There is so much happening and so much opportunity. We’re looking for a self-starting, scrappy engineer who is excited about learning quickly to keep up with all of the new developments, in order to make it easier than ever for developers to debug and maintain their systems
• Scrappy prototyper. Able to spin up prototypes in a matter of days
• Strong track record of delivery. Has launched multiple user-facing products/features
• Good track record of mentorship
• Good product sense. Is able to deeply understand the user and collaborate on solutions for addressing their needs
• Strong fullstack implementation skills. We’re looking for someone able to singlehandedly drive the initial development of substantial features
• Excellent communication skills. We’re a distributed engineering team and we’re going to be moving fast together. Good communication is key
• Good grasp of AI technologies. Able to quickly learn and build on top of new technologies in the AI space
• Experience driving large projects: 2+ past projects where you were responsible for hands-on delivering large parts of the work and 2+ past projects with multiple engineers
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to come to the office 5x per week
• Experience building product features. Both frontend and backend development experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Experience making architecture-level decisions based on scaling or other constraints
• Experience launching multiple user-facing products in collaboration with Product and Design
• Experience working on developer tools
