SEO/AEO Consultant (Part-time (Contract))

Join The Black Tux, a leading online suit and tuxedo rental company, as a part-time SEO and AEO consultant. In this role, you will support the marketing team in increasing organic visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered discovery platforms. You will develop and maintain a comprehensive SEO roadmap, conduct keyword research, audit and improve site architecture, and monitor rankings and traffic. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of SEO experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a deep understanding of AI search optimization.

• Proven ability to increase organic traffic and search visibility
• 5+ years of SEO experience with demonstrated business impact
• Experience with or proficiency with quickly learning AEO platforms and analytics tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with enterprise SEO platforms and analytics tools
• Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
• Direct experience with AEO, AI search optimization, or generative search visibility
• Experience tracking AI citations and brand presence in answer engines
• Experience with tools such as:
• Familiarity with schema markup, entity optimization, and knowledge graph concepts
• Semrush
• Ahrefs
• Google Search Console
• Screaming Frog
• GA4
