- Advanced frontend testing experience, with a proven ability to drive meaningful coverage in business-critical flows
- 8+ years building, testing, and shipping complex, customer-facing web applications, including 2+ years at Staff or Lead scope (or equivalent technical leadership)
- Strong command of client-side performance and frontend observability (monitoring, logging, alerting, and log analytics) to diagnose, prevent, and optimize issues in production
- Secure-by-default practices in payment-adjacent flows that handle sensitive user data
- Proven ownership of frontend architecture that scales across teams and codebases, and a track record of setting engineering standards others adopt
- Fluency with Git, CI/CD, and agile, iterative development
- Ability to turn high-fidelity designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible interfaces using design systems and modern CSS
- Deep, hands-on expertise with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Demonstrated use of AI development tooling (agentic workflows, AI-assisted review or test generation) in production
- Experience with payments or checkout flows, and operating applications through seasonal or event-driven peak load
- Experience defining observability standards or shared monitoring frameworks for a frontend organization
- Infrastructure and delivery tooling: CI/CD pipelines, containerization, orchestration, and cloud platforms
- Backend familiarity and integrating frontend apps with modern API layers (GraphQL or REST)
