About The Role
Join Fuse, a rapidly growing capital-intensive business, as a Corporate Finance Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for structuring, negotiating, and executing non-project debt, managing lender relationships, and partnering with leadership on capital strategy. This position is ideal for a strong analyst or associate looking to transition from advisory to principal and take ownership of outcomes.
- Structuring, negotiating, and executing the group's non-project debt, including corporate and special-situations facilities.
- Leading financings end to end from the principal side, from sizing and structuring through diligence, term sheets, documentation, and close.
- Building and owning the models and analysis behind each transaction, including capital structure, covenants, scenario, and returns work.
- A strong execution record on live financing or M&A transactions, ideally with exposure to leveraged or structured debt
- Comfortable running transactions and directing advisors, lenders and counsel under time pressure
- Strong quantitative or STEM background
- Excellent financial modelling and structuring skills, with the judgement to turn analysis into decisions
- First-principles operator who wants to build, not just execute mandates
- 2 to 5 years in leveraged finance, restructuring or M&A at a leading bank, advisory boutique or fund
- Energy, infrastructure, commodities or power-trading sector experience
- Familiarity with collateral, margin and ISDA/CSA mechanics
- Exposure to working-capital, receivables or inventory financing, or to equity and growth fundraising
