About The Role

Join Fuse as a Cost Management Analyst, where your decisions will have a direct impact on the company's profitability. You will work closely with the team responsible for cost control across the business, from supplier invoices to contract terms. Your role will involve reconciling invoices, building cost trackers, validating charges, and finding savings opportunities. You should have strong analytical skills, a genuine interest in cost control, and experience in financial modeling and coding.

  • Owning cost lines with a direct, visible line to the P&L, and ensuring discrepancies are caught before they become write-offs.
  • Building and maintaining trackers that provide real-time visibility into cost drivers, allowing for proactive management of costs.
  • Digging into specific cost lines, contracts, or vendor relationships to identify savings opportunities and building the analysis to support negotiations.
  • Analytical, structured and proactive: someone who chases down discrepancies rather than waiting for them to be explained
  • Very strong first-principles thinking: you want to understand why a cost exists before you try to reduce it
  • A genuine interest in cost control, procurement, or operational finance
  • Comfortable in a fast, ambiguous, high-intensity environment
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Coding skills (Python, SQL, or similar) for building cost-tracking tools
  • Exposure to contract or invoice reconciliation, vendor management, or process automation
  • A prior internship in banking, consulting, accounting, procurement, or a startup finance team
