Anticipated duties will include to engage in basic and translational research projects focused on the study of mechanism of reduction of adiposity induced by an FSH antibody.
Job Description
Technical Duties
Use mouse models in which specific genes are selectively deleted in the adipocytes, osteoclasts, or osteoblasts in order to investigate their effect on fat and bone cells by cell phenotyping, in vitro and/or ex vivo functional assays. She will be using histomorphometry, micro-CT, quantitative NMR, and molecular biology techniques to investigate how FSH inhibition affects adipose tissue and bone.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $72,500.00 - $80,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
