Payroll Business Lead Director

Join Justworks, a fast-growing startup in the payroll and HR technology space. As the Manager of Strategy Operations - Payroll, you will play a key role in executing and scaling the Payroll business. You will work at the intersection of strategy, execution, and operating design, translating ambitious goals into clear plans and mechanisms that enable sustainable growth. Your responsibilities will include running operating systems, leading cross-functional workstreams and initiatives, and providing structure and clarity to the team. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of the Payroll business and contribute to the overall growth of Justworks.

• Experience in SaaS, fintech, B2B services, or other regulated or operationally complex environments preferred

• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Focus on results and outcome, not just process. Have experience establishing processes that are appropriate and effective
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, ideally in program/project management, strategy operations, and/or consulting
• High business and financial acumen; comfort working with KPIs, unit economics, and performance metrics
• Minimum 1+ Years with Justworks highly preferred
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)
