Senior Software Engineer I, Frontend Infrasturcture & Experience

Join Braze, a leading customer engagement platform, as a Senior Software Engineer I on the Frontend Infrastructure & Experience (FIX) team. In this role, you will design and build foundational frontend systems, lead large projects, improve the developer experience, and build customer-facing product experiences. You will work with TypeScript, React, Cypress, Jest, Ruby on Rails, and more. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering experience, is highly skilled in modern frontend development, and cares deeply about user experience, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.

• Design and build foundational frontend systems, components, tools, and patterns used by engineers across Braze.
• Lead large projects end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, testing, rollout, and operational follow-through.
• Improve the developer experience of working in a large TypeScript and React codebase through better abstractions, tooling, documentation, and examples.
