Commercial Counsel

You will draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, advise on employment matters, and support the development of internal policies. • Act as the primary legal point of contact for commercial contracting across the business, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements.
• Advise on a broad range of employment matters, including hiring, terminations, performance management, and employee relations, and draft and update employment agreements.
• Provide legal guidance on day-to-day business operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support internal policy development and implementation.
• Excellent agreement drafting and negotiating skills
• Practical, business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial objectives
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically - not afraid to get into the weeds
• Law degree (JD) from accredited law school
• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects with competing deadlines
• NY Bar membership required
• 4+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in large law firm and/or in-house legal department
• Business-minded, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented
• Strong experience in commercial contracts and employment law matters
