Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting projects from conception to completion, working on various areas of our technology stack. • Contributing to the conceptualization and feature documentation of new ideas and product enhancements, and building and extending interactive React applications.
• Working closely with end users, handling large scale infrastructure challenges, and ensuring exceptional code quality and system integrity.
• Collaborating with the engineering team and other functions to continuously evolve the platform and products, and implementing new features into React Native applications.
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities
• Ability to design new features around data models with accuracy, security, and performance in mind
• Experience working with a backend language, an ORM, and writing API endpoints
• Fluency with JavaScript’s features as a prototyped and functional language
• High proficiency over at least one industry-common language and be conversant (and interested to improve!) in others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Startup work experience is a plus
• A strong desire to help our customers succeed
• Experience in building a professionally successful production application in a modern web framework
• Experience working with a database and analyzing queries for improved optimizations
• Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in Computer Science
• Good software testing habits
• 2 years of professional software engineering experience, (preferably building web applications)
• A positive attitude and one-for-all team mentality
• Comfortable working in a remote environment
