About The Role
Join our team as a Senior Accounting Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. You will be responsible for inputting journal entries, assisting with month-end closing processes, performing account reconciliations and variance analysis, managing accounts payable functions, supporting annual audit preparation, and contributing to our business growth in new markets and products. - Input journal entries and assist with month-end closing processes, perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices and ensuring timely payments, and assist with accounts receivable/premium accounting.
- Support annual audit preparation and respond to auditor requests, and support business growth in new markets and products.
- 3+ years working in public accounting or at a mid-late stage start-up
- Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Familiarity or experience with P&C insurance is an advantage
- Sage Intacct experience is a bonus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a similar business field (CPA preferred)
- Ability to wear many hats and work autonomously
- Well-versed in month-end closing processes and accounting standards
