Senior Engineering Manager (Product)

Join Render, a fast-growing cloud platform, as a Senior Engineering Manager for Product Engineers. In this role, you will lead a team of talented builders, drive execution on key product initiatives, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with product management, design, and other internal teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions and product roadmaps. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, experience managing people, and a passion for building products that developers love.

• Lead and grow a team of product engineers, providing mentorship, feedback, and technical guidance.
• Drive execution on key product initiatives from ideation through launch, balancing speed with high standards of reliability and quality.
• Partner closely with Product and Design teams to translate customer needs into thoughtful technical solutions and product roadmaps.
• A track record of successful collaboration with product, marketing, and customer support teams to drive adoption and retention
• Product-oriented mindset with experience translating business goals and user needs into engineering roadmaps and shipped features
• 8+ years as an Engineer shipping products and/or features that have downstream impact on the business and product ecosystem
• Ability to balance urgency with thoughtful execution, helping teams ship quickly while maintaining high quality. Able to turn ambiguous problems into achievable goals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design
• Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in system design, architecture, and engineering tradeoffs
• Experience improving engineering velocity through tooling, processes, and team practices
• 4+ years of experience managing people and developing engineers, including hiring, mentorship, and performance management
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for both team outcomes and long-term system health
• Background working on highly scalable distributed systems or infrastructure platforms
• Experience building products for developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, or DevTools
• Experience building products used directly by developers or technical users
