CDD Risk Analyst (Direct Customer Onboarding)

Join Adyen, a leading global payment company, as a CDD Risk Analyst in our Direct Customer Onboarding team. In this role, you will perform enhanced due diligence, review KYC documentation, and assess potential anti-money laundering risks. You will work closely with various teams within Adyen to ensure compliance and maintain an up-to-date understanding of our customers. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Customer Due Diligence, Enhanced Due Diligence, or KYC, and possess a strong affinity for AI and automation.

• Perform necessary enhanced due diligence, including reviewing KYC documentation and assessing potential anti-money laundering risks.
• Execute upon Know-Your-Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
• Collect and analyze customer information whilst documenting material changes to their organizational structures, legal entity(ies) and policies.
• You are comfortable navigating ambiguity in an unstructured work environment and enjoy working with people from different cultures and backgrounds
• You have an analytical and critical mindset that helps inform your risk-based approach
• Knowledgeable of AML/CTF, CDD, EDD, and payments risk concepts
• You have a natural tendency to be curious and think outside of the box
• You have a great sense of responsibility, integrity in your work, and you prioritize tasks based on business needs
• You are a clear communicator with a strong team spirit, not afraid to step out of your comfort zone, and feel confident tailoring your message to your audience
• 3+ years experience in Customer Due Diligence/Enhanced Due Diligence/KYC
• You are operationally oriented with an eagerness to pick up and drive projects with cross-functional teams
• You possess a strong affinity for AI and automation, effectively leveraging advanced tools to streamline operational workflows and drive scalable solutions
