Corporate Legal Counsel

Join Adyen, a global payment company, as a Corporate Legal Counsel. In this strategic role, you will work on matters related to Adyen's public listing in the Netherlands, facilitate major corporate projects, and drive discussions on disclosure matters. You will also provide legal support on corporate law matters, manage insider trading and conflict of interest inquiries, and ensure compliance with the Market Abuse Regulation. The position requires a minimum of 4+ years of corporate legal experience and strong knowledge of the Market Abuse Regulation and related Dutch and European regulations.

• Advising on matters related to Adyen's public listing in the Netherlands and facilitating major corporate projects.
• Driving discussions and decision-making on disclosure matters, public filings, and equity matters.
• Managing insider trading and conflict of interest inquiries, ensuring compliance with the Market Abuse Regulation.
• The role requires someone effective at cross collaboration, who excels at decision making in a fast-moving complex environment
• Knowledge of and comfort with the Market Abuse Regulation is imperative to success
• Can work independently as well as collaboratively, gathering appropriate input and making clear, well-reasoned decisions
• An attorney with minimum of 4+ years of corporate legal experience, either as a corporate attorney or in-house corporate counsel at a publicly listed company in an international setting
• Ability to structure and prioritize in a high volume, fast-paced, complex environment
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and related Dutch and European regulations
• Familiarity with equity compensation structures
• Experience interfacing with the AFM, supervisory boards, and management boards
