Group Product Manager (Onboarding)
Adyen · Chicago, United States
About The Role
Join Adyen, a leading global payment company, as a Group Product Manager for Onboarding. In this high-ownership role, you will be responsible for scaling Adyen's end-to-end onboarding experience, driving activation and conversion, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead a globally distributed team of product managers and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and success.
- Own and scale Adyen’s end-to-end onboarding experience, spanning merchant and sub-merchant/platform onboarding worldwide.
- Set and execute the strategy for Adyen’s global onboarding surface, continuously optimizing the flows that drive activation, conversion, and time-to-value.
- Lead, coach, and grow a globally distributed team of product managers, setting high standards for product craft, analytical rigor, and ownership.
- Regulated-Industry Experience (strongly preferred): You have ideally worked in a regulated industry — financial services, healthcare, insurance, or similar — and are comfortable designing experiences within tight compliance and regulatory constraints
- Onboarding & Growth Background: You have worked in onboarding, activation, or a growth function, and you understand how to build and optimize front-end experiences that move core metrics
- Experienced Product Leader: You have 8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years leading and developing product managers. You have launched and evolved complex products across the full lifecycle
- Highly Analytical & Data-Driven: You define the right metrics, run rigorous experiments, and let evidence guide your decisions
- AI-Native: You have deep, hands-on experience using AI tools to build products and improve how you and your team work, and you know how to apply AI/ML to improve product experiences themselves
- High Agency & Growth Mindset: You operate with autonomy and ownership in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, and you continuously push yourself and your team to raise the bar
- Exceptional Collaborator: You thrive working across teams and functions, building trust with technical, commercial, risk, and compliance partners, and influencing without direct authority
- Studies show that women and members of underrepresented communities apply for jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. Does this sound like you? If so, Adyen encourages you to reconsider and apply. We look forward to your application!
