Senior Employee Relations Manager (Investigations)

About The Role
Join Adyen, a leading global payment company, as a Senior Employee Relations Manager (Investigations). In this expert-level role, you will lead and manage internal investigations related to policy violations, act as a trusted advisor to leadership and the People Team, and contribute to key Employment Legal and Employee Relations projects. You will work from Adyen's office at least 3 days per week and may be required to travel up to 15%.
- Lead and manage all aspects of internal investigations in North America, covering the full lifecycle of an investigation, from intakes and interviews to drafting reports.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Leadership and the People Team, using your expertise in investigations and HR best practices to provide guidance and support.
- Contribute to key Employment Legal and Employee Relations projects, partner with other legal teams, and help build an Employment Legal and Employee Relations analytics program.
- You are an excellent communicator for audiences with or without a legal background, with the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
- You have experience working with and partnering with colleagues across timezones and cultures
- You have a law license in at least one US state
- You have experience working in tech or other corporate environments
- You are a data driven practitioner who is proactive in identifying patterns and making recommendations
- You have deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations across North America
- You have 10+ years of experience in an Employment Legal or Employee Relations or role with a primary focus on conducting workplace investigations relating to alleged policy violations including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, failure to accommodate, and interference with protected activity
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and don’t need highly structured processes to operate
- Employment Legal practice experience in a law firm or in-house
- Experience in a global or high-growth tech company
