Senior Software Engineer (Observability)

Join Adyen, a global financial services platform, as a Senior Software Engineer in the Observability team. You will build and maintain products and services that enable engineers to understand their services in real-time, diagnose issues, and streamline data discovery. • Concevoir et faire évoluer des API utilisées par d'autres ingénieurs dans les équipes produit, en travaillant avec eux pour identifier les points de douleur et les opportunités.
• Identifier et résoudre les goulets d'étranglement et les points de défaillance uniques dans l'architecture, visant à améliorer la fiabilité de la plateforme d'observabilité.
• Conduire l'idéation, la mise en œuvre et l'adoption de fonctionnalités et de produits.
• Highly motivated to learn and continuously develop yourself
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code tools(e.g: Terraform)
• Experience improving software reliability between different categories including availability, performance, latency, efficiency, capacity, SLOs and incident management
• Demonstrated track record of leading and delivering project and features end to end
• 5+ years of experience working with highly distributed systems
• Proficiency developing and maintaining software written in Go and/or Java
• Solid understanding of system design and evaluating its tradeoffs
• Expertise in designing and implementing APIs and data pipelines for high-throughput, real-time data ingestion
• Observability Stack Expertise: You have hands-on experience operating core telemetry data stores at scale e.g. Elasticsearch/Opensearch/VictoriaLogs/Clickhouse for logging, Prometheus/ VictoriaMetrics for metrics and Grafana Tempo for distributed tracing, Grafana LGTM stack, OpenTelemetry, Alertmanager
• Experience with highly available/fault tolerant, replicated data storage systems, large scale data processing systems is a strong plus
• Infrastructure and Platform Experience
• Contributions to open-source observability projects
