About The Role

Join CoreWeave, a rapidly expanding data center company, as the Manager of Electrical Engineering. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of critical electrical infrastructure, ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, vendors, and construction teams to drive electrical design strategy and ensure successful project execution.

  • Lead the design and delivery of critical electrical infrastructure for data center projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
  • Manage the design and implementation of mission-critical electrical systems, including substations, distribution, emergency generators, UPS systems, and fire alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive electrical design strategy, establish engineering standards, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including substations, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, battery energy storage systems, power distribution, and fire alarm systems
  • Familiarity with Emergency Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, control sequences, and monitoring protocols
  • Experience supporting large-scale, high-density data center environments and cloud infrastructure deployments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • 8+ years of experience designing, developing, or managing electrical infrastructure within mission-critical facilities, data centers, or similarly complex environments
  • Proven experience managing complex engineering projects through design, construction, commissioning, and handoff
  • Strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
  • Willingness to travel to data center sites as needed
  • Industry certifications such as Uptime Institute, BICSI, or similar are a plus
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
