Senior Software Engineer (API Platform & Client Tooling)

Join CoreWeave as a Senior Software Engineer focused on API Platform & Client Tooling. In this role, you will design and build a code-generation pipeline, own components end to end, and partner with other teams to ensure consistent API design. You will work on Go engineering, API design, and cross-team collaboration, while also mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.

• Design and build the code-generation pipeline that turns a single proto contract into Go SDKs, CWIC commands, and Terraform resources.
• Own components end to end, from the proto and API contract through the generated artifacts other teams depend on, and raise the quality bar for the developer experience.
• Partner with other teams early in their design process to help them ship good, consistent APIs, and act consultatively to help other teams design and ship good APIs and services.
• Production experience writing Go
• A track record of owning a project or initiative end to end and operating independently
• Clear communication about your technical contributions and how you collaborate
• Experience building or maintaining client tooling: SDKs, CLIs, or infrastructure providers (Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane)
• Experience designing and evolving APIs: versioning, backwards compatibility, and deprecation
• Familiarity with the Buf toolchain, ConnectRPC, the Terraform Plugin Framework, or Cobra
• Experience with gRPC and protocol buffers, or another strongly-typed API/IDL toolchain
• Experience with code generation of any kind: codegen pipelines, templating, AST manipulation, or compiler/plugin work
