Software Engineer (Console)

Join the Cloud Platform team at CoreWeave, a high-visibility team responsible for the interfaces to our customer-facing products. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining backend systems, while also contributing to frontend experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in design discussions, and contribute to software development best practices. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in backend services, a solid understanding of database design, and familiarity with cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the team's strategy and roadmap, and participate in design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Build and maintain frontend experiences in Console/Admin using TypeScript and React, and design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure and performant backend services.
• Contribute to software development best-practices, including writing maintainable and testable code, participating in thorough code reviews, and debugging production issues.
• Experience with authentication, authorization and security best practices
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and software testing best-practices
• Strong proficiency in Go or Python. Willingness to learn and use TypeScript and React in production as a regular part of the role
• Familiarity with observability practices including metrics and logging
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
• Professional experience building and maintaining production-grade backend services. Comfortable contributing to full-stack product development, including API-backed user interfaces
• Demonstrated ownership of code quality, performance, and maintainability from development through production
• Solid understanding of database design and experience with SQL
• Experience with Kubernetes and a conceptual understanding of its major components
• Prior experience building reliable and scalable platform services that process large amounts of data
• Proven experience with Prometheus/PromQL, including optimizing time series queries, and/or integrating Prometheus with large-scale systems for monitoring and analytics
• Experience with managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and practices
• Experience working across backend services and frontend applications in the same product area
