About The Role

Join CoreWeave, a leading provider of cloud-based infrastructure for high-performance computing and AI workloads. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple large-scale data center deployment projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and ready for high-performance AI workloads. You will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, manage resources, identify potential project risks, and ensure quality assurance. This role requires a strong background in data center operations, project management skills, and the ability to travel up to 60% of the time.

  • Lead the full lifecycle of multiple simultaneous data center deployment projects, including design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.
  • Effectively manage and allocate resources (teams, tools, budget), ensuring that all project phases are adequately staffed and equipped to meet fast-paced timelines.
  • Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • 6+ years of demonstrated experience in data center deployment, infrastructure project implementation, or technical project management within a data center environment
  • Data Center Operations: In-depth technical knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems. Demonstrated familiarity with data center best practices and industry standards
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to successfully manage complex technical projects from initiation to completion, utilizing a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose innovative solutions, supported by strong decision-making and critical-thinking abilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% to data center locations to support project execution, sometimes on short notice
  • Compliance and Security: Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime Institute, ASHRAE), data center compliance requirements, security protocols, and risk management practices
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing requirements, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with liquid-to-chip cooling technologies and advanced data center redundancy protocols
  • Experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC) or AI-specific infrastructure
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CDCP, CDCS, or similar) are a plus

  • Must either be (A) a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, (B) eligible to access the export controlled information without a required export authorization
  • Or (C) eligible and reasonably likely to obtain the required export authorization from the applicable U.S. government agency
