Engineering Leader (Infrastructure & Platform)

Join Candid Health as an Engineering Leader (Infrastructure & Platform). In this role, you will support and enable our core Platform and Infrastructure teams in planning, executing, and delivering the Candid platform to healthcare provider customers. You will oversee multiple teams, define technical strategy, and mentor and grow your team members. This position requires a strong background in software engineering leadership and a passion for building scalable and reliable distributed systems.

• Plan, execute, and deliver the Candid platform to healthcare provider customers, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead and manage multiple teams responsible for building and maintaining key infrastructure components, fostering their growth and ensuring effective contributions.
• Collaborate with company leadership, sales, and product teams to define and execute long-term product strategy, and partner closely with security, data privacy, and compliance teams.
• Track record of successfully leading people and teams to build scalable and reliable distributed systems; including teams focused on Data and Infrastructure engineering
• 6+ years of experience in a Software Engineering Leadership position, as a Senior Manager, or Manager of Managers
• B.S. or B.A in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or other similar degree
• You’re a clear and concise communicator; you enjoy the challenge of explaining complicated ideas in simple terms, both in-person and in writing
• Demonstrated excellence in technical decision making; you know the right architecture and patterns to build functional, durable, and maintainable product
• You are based in (or willing to relocate to) one of the following areas: Denver, CO or San Francisco, CA
• You know how to manage in multiple directions, including laterally and upward: you know how to advocate for yourself and your team: where to get into the weeds and where to delegate
• You have successfully interviewed, hired, and mentored product focused engineering teams. You collaborate well with staffing partners and stakeholders through all phases of the hiring lifecycle and are a talent magnet
