Senior Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A

Join Sunbit, a rapidly growing fintech company, as the Senior Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A. In this role, you will report directly to the CFO and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. You will lead enterprise-wide financial planning, influence capital strategy, and support Sunbit's continued expansion. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fintech and investment banking, with experience in consumer lending or credit card finance.

• Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to develop the company's long-term financial strategy, lead annual planning, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and scenario analysis.
• Provide financial leadership around Sunbit's lending portfolio, including portfolio profitability, unit economics, funding costs, credit performance, reserve impacts, and balance sheet optimization.
• Drive financial discipline and accountability across the organization, develop sophisticated financial models supporting capital allocation, fundraising, debt financing, securitization activities, and strategic initiatives.
• The ideal candidate has built a foundation in fintech and investment banking before transitioning into strategic finance or FP&A within a consumer lending, credit card, BNPL where they gained firsthand experience managing lending portfolios, funding strategies, and the financial dynamics unique to balance sheet lending businesses
• Prior experience in Investment Banking with strong financial modeling, valuation, and transaction experience
• Deep expertise in enterprise FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
• Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to executive leadership and Boards of Directors
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience within fintech or financial services
• Significant experience supporting a consumer lending, credit card, BNPL, or balance sheet lending business
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic finance initiatives
• Experience supporting debt financing, capital markets activities, warehouse facilities, securitizations, or other funding strategies
• Credit card issuers
• Digital banks

• Buy Now, Pay Later companies
• Large financial institutions with consumer lending businesses
• Candidates may have experience from organizations such as:
• Experience supporting a rapidly scaling fintech company
• MBA and/or CPA
• Experience with NetSuite and modern FP&A systems
• Exposure to investor relations, Board reporting, and fundraising
• Expertise in financial modeling, capital allocation, and lending portfolio analytics
