Legal & Compliance Officer

Join Wooclap, a fast-growing B2B SaaS company, as our first in-house Legal & Compliance Officer. You will build and manage the legal function, handling all contractual, compliance, and regulatory matters. You will work closely with various internal teams and external counsel, ensuring Wooclap's interests are protected and that we remain compliant with all relevant regulations. • Assurer la protection des intérêts de Wooclap dans toutes les relations commerciales en examinant, en négociant et en modifiant les contrats clients et fournisseurs.
• Maintenir la conformité de Wooclap en matière de protection des données et de réglementation, en coordonnant les activités avec le DPO externe.
• Réduire les frictions juridiques lors des transactions commerciales en participant directement aux appels clients et en résolvant les questions contractuelles en temps réel.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal role, ideally in B2B SaaS, tech, or a fast-scaling company
• Strong command of commercial contract law and data protection regulations (GDPR)
• Comfortable operating across multiple jurisdictions (Europe / North America)
• Fluent in French and English
• Highly rigorous and detail-oriented, with clean documentation habits and reliable follow-through on all legal matters
• Autonomous, pragmatic, and business-oriented: you find solutions, not problems
• Experience with ISO 27001 / information security compliance is a plus

• Have drafted or negotiated agreements from scratch
• Have experience with international expansion (North America in particular)
• Are comfortable advising non-legal stakeholders directly
