Engineering Manager (Core Integrations)

Join Asana as an Engineering Manager (Core Integrations) and lead a high-performing team in delivering high-quality products at the intersection of integrations, platform, and AI. You will manage and coach 6-8 engineers, foster an inclusive culture, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate customer pain points into a reliable technical MVP and a scalable architectural roadmap. You will also maintain a high bar for quality and experience on the part of the team.

• Manage and coach a team of 6–8 engineers, fostering an inclusive culture and establishing team rituals that drive excellence and professional growth.
• Partner with product, design, professional services, and UXR to translate customer pain points into a reliable technical MVP and a scalable architectural roadmap.
• Guide the articulation and execution of the team’s work, ensuring it ties back into high-level business goals and maintaining a high bar for quality.
• Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making
• Earns trust quickly — bringing the intelligence, empathy, and technical depth to go deep on architecture, flows, and tradeoffs alongside a sharp engineering team
• Has worked on platforms before. SDKs, APIs, developer tooling, or frameworks experience are all relevant
• Thrives in customer conversations and translates qualitative insights into crisp product decisions, energized by solving real operational pain, not just shipping features
• 6+ years of relevant experience with leadership experience (either managing or a technical lead), and a demonstrated track record of growing engineers across levels
• Clear, persuasive communicator who can bring structure to ambiguous spaces and align engineering, design, product, and exec stakeholders around a coherent direction
