About The Role
Join Asana, a leading work management platform, as a Senior Experience Researcher. In this role, you will partner with various teams to develop valuable insights about customer behaviors and attitudes, translating them into actionable recommendations. You will play a key role in defining the product roadmap and influencing the evolution of Asana for Service, an intuitive employee service management experience. This position is based in Vancouver and offers a unique opportunity to shape a significant new product from the ground up.
- Identifying and prioritizing high-impact research needs in partnership with product leadership, ensuring the Asana for Service roadmap is based on customer understanding and business goals.
- Leading foundational post-GA research that drives critical product improvements for Asana for Service and influences long-term product vision.
- Driving co-design and usability research, owning the customer panel feedback loop to track the evolution of user needs as the product scales.
- Mature product judgement with the ability to distill messy data into clear, "low-polish" deliverables that drive immediate decision-making
- Deep knowledge of information architecture and design principles, allowing you to partner effectively with Design and Content Strategy
- 6+ years of experience practicing UX Research for digital products, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects
- Persuasive communicator who can influence product strategy through storytelling and evidence-based recommendations
- Bring a "Maker Mindset" to a zero-to-one product environment, willing to stretch beyond traditional UXR remits to help shape and build the product. For example you might help create a prototype or contribute to pricing & packaging conversations
- Strong organizational leadership and the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams while building deep trust and rapport with senior stakeholders
- Mastery of qualitative and quantitative methods including prototype testing, contextual inquiry, journey mapping, and advanced evaluative techniques
- Actively experimenting with AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making. We’re looking for researchers who can harness AI to extend and deepen the ways in which we develop insights and leverage them across the org
