Software Engineer (Communications Integrations)

Join Asana as a Software Engineer on our Communications Integrations team. You will be responsible for building end-to-end features, owning how Asana connects to popular tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email. • Approaches debugging and incidents with rigor, showing comfort digging into unfamiliar systems, isolating root causes, and driving durable fixes
• Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making
• Experience building and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs or external platforms (e.g., OAuth authorization flows, webhook pipelines, or notification systems), and a solid understanding of the operational realities that come with them
• Ability to operate independently on well-scoped projects, navigating ambiguity, identifying missing requirements, and proactively surfacing trade-offs before they become blockers
