  • Manage a team of software and data engineers, ensuring the financial automation stack reads from the right upstream tools/systems across the business seamlessly.
  • Define and deliver the go-forward architecture that allows SeatGeek’s financial automation stack to excel in a landscape increasingly transformed by agentic interactions and capabilities.
  • Experience with every technology listed isn’t expected, we’ve included them for transparency. What matters most to us is your core engineering skills and ability to learn, not deep expertise in any one tool or language
  • Languages: Python (FastAPI)
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Datadog, Gitlab
  • Datastores: Aurora (Postgres), Redshift, dbt
  • Streaming & workflows: Kafka, Flink, Airflow, Temporal
  • Saas: Workato, NetSuite

  • If you are passionate about modernizing financial infrastructure, and building teams and platforms that provide teams and agents data they can trust, this is your opportunity to transform how we think about money at SeatGeek
  • You're able to break down complex technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences, accurately representing the team's work to a wide range of stakeholders
  • You’re able to foster safe, collaborative & inclusive environments, where engineers feel empowered to do their best work
  • Knowledge of the technology industry and financial tools + methods to help your team make good tooling and framework decisions to set them up for success
  • Extensive hands-on transactional data experience, and knowledge of finance and accounting principles
  • You’ve worked as an Engineer in the past, are familiar with the challenges of that role, and preferably have had hands-on experience with the following:

  • 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager of productive, motivated teams
  • Proven track record leading teams to ship industry-leading UX that meaningfully elevates high-stakes customer experiences
  • You understand how to lead by setting context, facilitating collaboration, and getting buy-in between cross functional partners in product, design, engineering and leadership
  • You're comfortable operating without a playbook — defining the architecture, the team's ways of working, and the roadmap simultaneously
  • Proven experience handling and processing transactional data at scale in a SOX controlled environment
  • 5+ years as an engineer in a role that was mostly about writing code
  • Custom tools to automate financial operations and create accurate and complete financial reporting outputs
