Field Engineer

Join Replit as an Enterprise/Strategic Field Engineer, where you'll be the technical cornerstone for our largest and most strategic accounts. This hybrid role involves 80% post-sales and 20% high-impact pre-sales. You'll own the end-to-end technical relationship, drive continuous adoption and viral growth, source and qualify expansion opportunities, run value-based quarterly business reviews, and be the voice of the customer. The ideal candidate has 5-7+ years in technical customer-facing roles, exceptional communication skills, and a strong understanding of modern cloud architecture and developer tools.

• Establish and maintain the end-to-end technical relationship with enterprise customers, ensuring successful onboarding and adoption of Replit's solutions.
• Proactively identify and qualify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, driving growth and increasing the value customers receive from Replit.
• Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to Product and Engineering teams to shape Replit's roadmap and improve the overall customer experience.
• Hands-on technical credibility: You can read and write code (JavaScript, Python, or similar). You've built applications and understand APIs, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and modern cloud architecture
• Proven post-sales ownership: You've managed a book of 15-25+ enterprise accounts, driving adoption, expansion, and renewal with measurable NRR impact
• 5-7+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Customer Engineer or Forward Deployed Engineer at a high-growth B2B SaaS or dev tools company
• Exceptional communication: You can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical executives and translate business requirements into technical architecture
• Pre-sales technical selling experience: You've run POCs, onboarding sessions, webinars, and workshops. You've led technical meetings with the ability to listen to vague or concrete requirements and translate them on the fly into technical concepts, explain them clearly, and navigate rapidly changing meetings and unexpected challenges
• Comfort with up to 25% travel (expect 30%+)
• You're an active Replit user
• Experience with AI-powered dev tools, IDEs, source control, or developer platforms (GitHub/GitLab, V0, Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable, Claude Code, Zapier etc.)
• Hands-on experience building or configuring Model Context Protocol servers
• Understanding of AI Evaluation patterns (Evals) and Context Management (RAG, System Prompts)
• Background in DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), or SRE
• Experience running paid professional services engagements or customer workshops
