About The Role

Join Replit, a leading developer platform, as the Vice President of Communication. In this senior role, you will lead the company's external and internal communications strategy, develop a compelling narrative, and support Replit's international awareness. You should have experience building a communications function at a fast-growing technology company and be both strategic and execution-oriented.

  • Help lead and scale Replit’s communications function, including communications strategy, team structure, agency management, operating rhythms, and execution standards.
  • Develop and evolve Replit’s corporate narrative as the company expands across AI, developer tools, enterprise, consumer, education, and global markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology, business, AI, enterprise, developer, policy, and international media.
  • Proven experience working directly with founders, CEOs, executives, and senior cross-functional leaders
  • Ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear, compelling stories without losing substance
  • Strong understanding of the AI landscape and how AI is changing software development, enterprise productivity, and the future of work
  • A creative, resourceful, “do more with less” mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for users, developers, enterprise buyers, employees, policymakers, partners, and the press
  • Strong judgment in fast-moving, high-pressure environments
  • 12+ years of experience in communications, PR, media, corporate affairs, or related fields for Director level; 15+ years for VP level
  • Passionate about their craft and the impact they can have
  • Ability to see the big picture while operating in execution mode
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong relationships with technology, business, enterprise, AI, developer, and/or policy media
  • Experience across several communications disciplines, including external communications, internal communications, media relations, executive communications, crisis communications, and strategic messaging
  • Experience building, scaling, or significantly expanding a communications function at a fast-growing technology company
  • Cross-functional leadership experience, with the ability to influence and collaborate across product, engineering, sales, marketing, legal, policy, finance, and people teams
  • Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional communications programs on a global level
