Onsite Engineer

Join Planet as an Onsite Engineer, where you will provide hands-on, in-person support for office-based colleagues and executives. Your responsibilities will include walk-up and desk-side support, meeting room and Teams Rooms technology maintenance, VIP and executive support, device lifecycle management, and on-site support for infrastructure and networks. You will also manage local hardware stock and consumables, handle incident and request tickets, support office moves and events, and maintain documentation. • Provide in-person support at the tech bar and at desks for endpoint, peripheral, application, and connectivity issues.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot meeting-room AV and Microsoft Teams Rooms; ensure spaces are event-ready.
• Image, provision, deploy, and collect Windows and macOS devices; manage starters, leavers, and hardware refreshes.
• Device provisioning experience with Intune (Autopilot) and/or JAMF
• Confident using ITSM tooling and working to SLAs
• Strong hands-on hardware skills across laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices
• Able to work on-site full time and to lift and handle IT equipment as needed
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional, customer-first manner
• Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365
• Comfortable with basic networking and cabling - patching, Wi-Fi, and comms-room hands-and-feet
• Experience supporting meeting-room AV and Microsoft Teams Rooms
• Proven onsite / desk-side IT support experience, ideally supporting senior stakeholders
