About The Role
Join Opensee, a leading data analytics company, as a Business Solution Engineer Intern. You will be embedded within the Solution team, acting as a strategic bridge between Opensee's technology capabilities and the business priorities of our clients. Your responsibilities will include platform mastery, business deep-dive, use-case design and implementation, product feedback loop, and presentation and communication. You will develop skills in technology, finance, and project leadership. The internship is based in Paris, La Défense, and has a duration of at least 6 months.
- Acquérir une compréhension approfondie de la plateforme Opensee, y compris son architecture système, son modèle de déploiement, ses pipelines d'ingestion de données et ses principes de modélisation des données.
- Développer des connaissances solides sur les sujets de risque de livre bancaire, en mettant l'accent sur la gestion des actifs et des passifs (ALM) et le risque de liquidité, ainsi que sur les dimensions de risque liées à l'ESG.
- Prendre en charge la conception et la livraison d'un nouveau cas d'utilisation analytique de bout en bout, y compris la spécification des données, la création du modèle de données, la génération de données synthétiques, l'implémentation des métriques, l'optimisation des performances, la configuration de l'interface utilisateur.
Mandatory
- Final-year Master's student in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance from a leading Grande École or university
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent numerical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of SQL
- Genuine interest in Finance and Technology, curiosity about how data and analytics reshape banking is essential
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken
- A collaborative and outgoing personality, you enjoy telling a story, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and are comfortable presenting to both internal teams and external clients
A Plus
- Prior exposure (internship, academic project, or personal initiative) to a financial institution, fintech, or data/software vendor
- Familiarity with banking book risk concepts (ALM, liquidity, credit) or ESG frameworks
PRACTICAL DETAILS
- Location: Paris, La Défense
- Contract: End-of-studies internship (a valid French “convention de stage” is mandatory)
- Duration: 6 months minimum
