Senior Full Stack Engineer

Join Vida Health as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, where you will shape the technical direction of our Provider Team. You will design, build, and maintain backend services and user-facing applications that impact clinician and provider workflows. This role requires strong expertise in Python, Django, REST APIs, and React or React Native, as well as experience in leading technical projects and cross-functional initiatives.

• Concevoir, construire et maintenir les services backend et les applications orientées utilisateur qui alimentent les flux de travail des cliniciens et des prestataires.
• Diriger la découverte technique, la définition de l'étendue et l'exécution de fonctionnalités complexes, en collaborant de manière transparente avec les équipes Produit, Design, QA et les parties prenantes commerciales.

• Robust experience with modern React, state management via React Query, and TypeScript
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of leading technical projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Deep expertise in Python, Django models, and Django REST Framework (DRF) for building production-grade REST APIs
• Experience utilizing AI assistance, specifically Claude and Claude Code, to write, test, refactor, and optimize code efficiently
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build consensus across different teams
• Strong experience writing optimized queries, designing schemas, and managing database migrations
• Bachelors degree at a minimum
• Strong product and design intuition. You are comfortable building and refining interfaces independently, leveraging component frameworks to deliver great user experiences quickly without a design crutch
• Experience navigating healthcare technology, HIPAA compliance, or digital health platforms
• Hands-on experience with React Native
• Familiarity with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure like GCP or AWS
• Experience with event-driven architectures, Celery, or message brokers like Pub/Sub or RabbitMQ
