Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, training, and validating AI/ML products. You will support and advise executive leadership on technical and commercial feasibility, work with commercial teams to understand the impact of AI in life sciences, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build products. • Design, develop, train, and validate AI/ML products, ensuring they meet technical and commercial feasibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and commercial teams to understand the impact of AI in life sciences and build products.
• Advise executive leadership on technical aspects and advocate for AI initiatives internally and externally.
• 10+ years of AI/ML development experience, or 5+ years developing AI/ML tools for commercial life sciences, healthcare, or regulated environments
• Advanced degree in Biological, Data, or Computer Science
• You will be a critical team member in a unique partnership to industrialize Scientific AI. As such, you will engage directly with customers onsite up to 4-5 days per week in the Boston region
• Proven track record of deploying AI models addressing real world problems
• Superior talent developing at least one of: ML reinforcement learning, fine tuning, or automated retraining; LLM agentic governance including guardrails and evaluations
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of AI/ML products
• Experience collaborating with teams on large software projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to advocate and evangelize for AI initiatives internally and externally
• Demonstrated ability to make productized applications (for use by more than one group)
• Deep understanding of hurdles facing pharmaceutical drug development
• Degree in AI or ML
