Software Engineer (Real Time Analytics)

Join Orb, a company focused on real-time analytics for usage-based businesses. As a Software Engineer, you will own the runtime layer where billing state becomes actionable for customers. This foundational role sits at the intersection of infrastructure and product, requiring both systems engineering and customer-facing product design. You will collaborate across teams and work directly with enterprise and AI customers to shape the roadmap and build the system they rely on for real-time consumption and entitlement tracking.

• Concevoir et expédier des alertes et des analyses qui sont granulaires, flexibles et suffisamment rapides pour respecter les SLA de latence contractuels.

• Comfortable designing APIs and data models that other teams and customers depend on
• Attention to detail across API design, product UX, and everything in between
• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of owning products or systems end to end
• Enough systems depth to reason clearly about real-time and low-latency tradeoffs — this team leans product, but the engineering is real
• Energized by ambiguity and ownership — you want a say in what gets built, not just how
• Strong product instincts and genuine customer empathy; you like being close to customers and to the business impact of your work (this is revenue-adjacent, and people trust these numbers)
