About The Role
Join Nuro, a leading autonomous delivery company, as the Head of Product. In this deeply technical and customer-focused role, you will lead the company's product strategy and roadmap, translating customer needs, partner requirements, technical capabilities, operational constraints, and business priorities into a clear product roadmap. You will work closely with various teams, shape the commercialization roadmap, serve as an executive product voice, and build product discipline. This position requires a strong background in product management, technical fluency, and experience in high-growth environments.
- Own Nuro’s product strategy and roadmap, defining and driving the company-level product roadmap for the Nuro Driver and related commercialization products.
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements, working closely with customers and partners to understand their technical, operational, and commercial requirements.
- Partner deeply across technical and operational teams, serving as a trusted partner to teams across Autonomy, Systems, Infrastructure, Data, Operations, Program Management, Business Development, and Legal.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products
- Experience working closely with technical teams on complex products, platforms, infrastructure, AI/ML systems, robotics, autonomy, enterprise platforms, or similarly complex technical domains
- 5+ years of experience leading product teams or product organizations
- 15+ years of experience in technology, product management, engineering, or related technical product leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience translating customer, partner, or market requirements into product strategy, technical requirements, and product roadmaps
- Customer-Obsessed: You deeply understand customer and partner needs and can separate stated requests from the underlying product requirements. You build strong intuition for what customers need to successfully deploy, operate, and scale autonomy
- Strategic: You can connect company strategy, customer needs, technical roadmaps, commercial milestones, and operational realities into a coherent product direction. You know which product decisions matter most and where to focus the organization
- Influential Communicator: You can communicate product direction, technical tradeoffs, customer requirements, and strategic decisions clearly to executives, technical teams, operators, customers, and partners
- Trusted Partner: Technical and operational leaders see you as a partner who improves focus and decision quality. You understand what is blocking teams, where clarity is missing, and how to make teams more effective without adding unnecessary process

- Structured Thinker: You create clarity in ambiguous, complex systems. You surface the most important unanswered questions, define decision frameworks, and drive teams toward the right answers
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, AI/ML, mapping, simulation, fleet operations, logistics, mobility, or other complex physical-world systems where safety is paramount
- Experience commercializing technical platforms through external partnerships, enterprise customers, or large-scale ecosystem partners
- Strong understanding of how technical product decisions affect scalability, deployment readiness, customer adoption, and business outcomes
- Experience operating in high-growth, fast-changing, or ambiguous environments
- Track record of building strong product teams and raising the quality of product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution
