Software Reliability Engineer (Temporary FTE)

Join Nuro as a Software Reliability Engineer in a 12-month temporary full-time position with full benefits and potential for extension. You will design, build, and operate systems that support our autonomous vehicle platform and fleet operations. Your role will involve building resilient systems through automation, observability, and operational feedback. You will also lead reliability investigations and partner with engineering teams to improve instrumentation and signal quality.

• Concevoir, construire et exploiter des systèmes qui soutiennent la plateforme de véhicule autonome et les opérations de flotte.
• Développer des pipelines à l'échelle de la flotte qui transforment les signaux à bord bruyants en enquêtes exploitables.
• Collaborer avec les équipes d'ingénierie et les experts en la matière pour transformer les résultats des enquêtes en meilleures instrumentations.
• Experience writing and shipping software with an ownership mindset and attention to how it behaves in real-world conditions
• Interest in reliability engineering as a growth path: you’re motivated to learn how to build distributed systems and the challenges of scaling them reliably
• Ability to build and maintain tools and automation (Python, Go, Bash, C++)
• Comfortable navigating systems remotely via SSH + CLI, and inspecting the state of a linux system and its services
