Senior Server Engineer (Platform & Dev Productivity)

• Proven foundation in software engineering. Comfortable working with various programming languages (e.g. Go, Python, Scala, Ruby), or a readiness paired with the ability to learn rapidly
• Proven understanding of building, deploying, and operating distributed microservices in a containerized cloud environment (e.g. Kubernetes)
• An ownership approach, and an ability to drive projects end-to-end with minimal supervision
• Experience designing, building, or maintaining developer tooling, shared libraries, or internal platform services
• Developer empathy and a platform mindset. You can identify with engineers and propose extensible solutions to the problems they are facing
• Prior experience working in a polyglot platform or migrating a monolithic or single-language platform to a multi-language ecosystem
• Experience with observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing), telemetry pipelines, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure
• Background in developer efficiency, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, or internal tooling
• Experience with deployment automation, cloud services, and platform operations
• Experience writing and maintaining library code for microservice applications
