Senior Manager of Product Design

Join Strava, the leading social network for athletes. As a Senior Manager of Product Design, you will own the design direction and quality across Explore, Live, and Map. You will directly manage and develop a team of 4 Product Designers, partner with PM and Engineering leads, lead design reviews, and represent the London design perspective in conversations with the Senior Director of Product Design. • Assumer la direction et la qualité du design pour les produits Explore, Live et Map, en prenant des décisions au niveau des fonctionnalités et des projets.

• Comfortable leading a distributed team across multiple European locations — London, Chamonix, and Berlin
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills: you've worked alongside PM and Engineering leaders to shape product direction and you know how to hold a point of view in senior conversations
• Demonstrated experience leading Product Design at a senior manager level (or equivalent), with a track record of managing designers and owning design direction across multiple product areas
• Experience with consumer product design at meaningful scale — you've worked on products that real people rely on, and you understand the responsibility that comes with that
• Demonstrated ability to raise craft and quality across a team — you develop others and build a culture where quality is expected, named, and consistently raised
• Based in London or actively relocating
• Still in the work at a high level — you give precise, substantive craft feedback, engage in design decisions at the detail level, and set the bar through your own taste and judgment, not just through oversight
• Ability to set and articulate a clear design vision — not just reacting to what's in front of you, but establishing a point of view on where the product should go and bringing others along with it
