DevOps Engineer (CIMAR)

Join DeepHealth as a DevOps Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting and evolving our AWS-based infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD tooling, and operational processes. You'll work closely with the Senior Platform Engineer to focus on infrastructure automation, cloud operations, platform reliability, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, managing Kubernetes platforms, building and improving CI/CD pipelines, monitoring platform health and performance, automating operational processes, and implementing cloud security best practices.

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform or equivalent), ensuring consistency, repeatability, and version control.
• Manage and improve Kubernetes platforms (EKS or similar), including cluster configuration, scaling, upgrades, and reliability.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable software delivery across development teams.
• Preferred: Familiarity with GitOps practices and tooling (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux)
• Preferred: Experience with observability and monitoring tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar)
• Preferred: Experience in a regulated industry such as healthcare or finance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (required)
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar for automation (required)
• Preferred: AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect)
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments (required)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform (required)
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, and related) (required)
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure role (required)
• Security-conscious approach to infrastructure design and operations (required)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs (required)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent (required)
• This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
