Asset Manager Topside Equipment

Join Nexans, a global leader in electrification, as an Asset Manager for Topside Equipment. In this role, you will be the technical authority for all cable laying topside equipment on Nexans' vessels. You will be responsible for the reliability, availability, and integrity of these assets, ensuring they meet operational needs and regulatory requirements. Your main responsibilities will include equipment operations and performance, upgrades and modifications, project and stakeholder coordination, and safety and compliance.

• Serve as the primary technical focal point for all topside cable laying equipment, including auxiliary topside equipment, during planning, mobilization, offshore operations, and demobilization.
• Manage the full process for requests for modification (RfM) related to topside equipment, including developing technical scopes, specifications, and business justifications for upgrades or new equipment investments.
• Collaborate with project managers, project engineers, and offshore supervisors to align equipment readiness with project schedules and operational requirements.
