About The Role
Join FareHarbor as a Senior Web Designer, where you'll play a critical role in shaping the design, structure, and user experience of websites for enterprise-level clients in the tourism industry. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead the end-to-end product design process, and elevate the design culture at FareHarbor.
- Lead the end-to-end product design process for complex website initiatives, ensuring alignment with client goals, user needs, and technical feasibility.
- Design and build high-quality, conversion-focused websites using WordPress, Figma, and additional web tools as needed, delivering visually compelling and strategically structured experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, and Project Managers to align on scope, resolve technical risks, and ensure seamless implementation.
- Web Design Skills: Proficiency in web design best practices, with experience in WordPress or similar Content Management Systems (e.g., Wix, Squarespace, Joomla, webflow, etc)
- Technical Skills: Experience with HTML, CSS, and experience with UX/UI tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
- Asset Management: Develop and maintain website assets, including graphics, embeddable widgets from external platforms, and custom development features
- Travel: Up to 30% travel to service our highest valued clients in-person
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in digital marketing design, with a focus on B2B environments and SaaS platforms. 2-3 years of experience in web design, including working with graphic design software like Figma or Photoshop
- Time Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs
- Communication: Strong ability to articulate design decisions, strategies, and visions, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong ability to influence peers and leaders across multiple functions without formal authority
- Working Hours: Schedule adjustments to support European team and client collaboration; regular overlap with European business hours required
- Project Management: Experience working in an Agile workflow environment and usage of Project Management systems like Airtable, Jira, Monday, etc
- Team Collaboration: Experience working within teams and cross-departmentally, with a proven ability to mentor and guide junior designers
- Judgment: Must be able to work highly independently and demonstrate strong judgment on critical client work
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision in both product and web design, with a focus on delivering user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing solutions
- Forward Thinking: A proactive approach to staying current with industry trends and continuously improving design processes
- Experience with additional website building platforms (e.g., GoDaddy, FTP) and Agile workflows
- Previous work in agency-like environments or developing/improving brand identity online
- Understanding of SEO principles, Web Content Accessibility, Google Analytics, or Compliance solutions
- Experience with CSS/HTML implementation
- A passion for tackling new challenges daily and contributing innovative ideas to improve the design function within FareHarbor
- Bilingual speaking
