Senior Accountant

Join LemFi, a rapidly growing fintech company, as a Senior Accountant. In this hands-on role, you will help establish scalable accounting processes, improve financial controls, and ensure timely, accurate reporting across entities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to build a lean, reliable finance operation. Key responsibilities include month-end close and financial reporting, statutory and entity reporting, audit and external partner management, and strengthening internal controls and documentation. The ideal candidate will have relevant accounting experience, strong technical accounting expertise, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

• Establish scalable accounting processes, improve financial controls, and ensure timely, accurate reporting across entities.
• Own the month-end close for assigned entities and prepare accurate, timely management accounts.
• Support audits and work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.
• This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys operating in a fast-paced fintech environment, balancing strong technical accounting expertise with a practical, problem-solving mindset
• Hands-on finance professional: Comfortable working in the detail, taking ownership of core accounting activities, and improving processes along the way

• Detail-oriented and reliable: Committed to producing accurate financial information and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant accounting experience, ideally within a fast-growth business, fintech, tech, or similarly dynamic environment
• Experience supporting or leading audit processes and working directly with external auditors and financial partners
• NetSuite experience highly desirable; familiarity with Tableau or Looker is a plus
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial controls, with the ability to apply them in practice
• Proactive, organised, and able to identify, investigate, and resolve issues with minimal oversight
• Confidence working with financial data and building scalable reporting processes
• ACA, ACCA, or ICAEW qualification, or an equivalent accounting qualification
• Experience preparing statutory and non-statutory financial statements, as well as monthly management accounts
