Data Scientist / Applied AI Developer

Join Animaj, a leader in the global media industry, as a Data Scientist / Applied AI Developer. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our data and AI strategy for content creation and distribution. Your responsibilities will include building tools for audience intelligence, optimizing YouTube performance, integrating language models into creative workflows, and designing data ingestion and transformation pipelines. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in data science, ML engineering, or AI development, strong Python proficiency, and familiarity with the data/ML ecosystem.

• Construire des outils pour comprendre les comportements et les préférences des audiences, ainsi que les tendances du contenu, afin de guider les choix créatifs et éditoriaux.
• Développer des solutions alimentées par l'IA pour améliorer la performance des publications sur YouTube (SEO, métadonnées, vignettes, titres, descriptions) et maximiser la valeur de notre catalogue existant.
• Déployer des modèles de langage au sein des outils internes pour assister les équipes créatives et éditoriales.

• **Who You Are**
• **Experience & Background**

• 5-8 years of experience in data science, ML engineering, or AI development
• Technical degree (Master's, engineering school, or equivalent) with strong hands-on experience
• Proven track record implementing data/AI solutions and deploying them in production

**Must-have Technical Skills**

• Strong Python proficiency and familiarity with the data/ML ecosystem (PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, etc.) and their integration
• Experience with web scraping and data extraction
• Solid software engineering practices (testing, documentation, Git)
• Familiarity with Prefect, Databases (we use Clickhouse)

**Nice to Have**

• Experience with YouTube APIs (Analytics, Data API) or other distribution platforms
• Ability to prototype full-stack applications (API design, backend, basic frontend)
• Knowledge of video SEO and platform recommendation mechanics
• Experience with RAG, fine-tuning, agentic architectures
• Interest in children's content, animation, or entertainment
