About The Role

Join our team as a CASS & Safeguarding Assistant Audit Manager. In this role, you will support a growing client base in a rapidly developing market. You will be the key contact for clients on day-to-day matters, manage a key client portfolio, and build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients. You will also have the opportunity to attend office marketing events and suggest innovative products to address clients' needs.

  • Joining us as an Cass & Safeguarding Assistant Manager, you must have at least two years of experience managing statutory and CASS audits for financial services clients
  • Ability to assess safeguarding risks, identify control deficiencies, and provide practical recommendations for remediation
  • Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
  • Awareness of evolving FCA safeguarding regulations and industry developments within payments, e-money, and investment firms
  • Project management experience
  • Strong understanding of FCA CASS rules, including CASS safeguarding requirements and regulatory expectations
  • Experience of IFRS and auditing listed companies would be beneficial
  • You will ideally have one of the following professional qualifications – ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Knowledge of safeguarding reconciliations, control frameworks, governance arrangements, and risk management processes
  • Experience liaising with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Operational stakeholders on CASS and safeguarding matters
  • It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way:
  • Experience of managing audits of large companies in addition to dealing with complex technical matters
  • Experience conducting or supporting CASS safeguarding audits, assurance reviews, or related compliance engagements
