Corporate Controller

Join Beacon Biosignals, a rapidly growing Series B company, as a Corporate Controller. In this mission-critical role, you will oversee accounting practices, compliance, and cash management strategies. You will work closely with leaders across the organization and report directly to the CEO. Key responsibilities include managing accounting and payroll activities, developing and maintaining accounting policies, supporting financial performance monitoring, and ensuring accurate payroll tax calculations. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of finance experience, a CPA, and a passion for continuous process improvement.

• Oversee all accounting and payroll activities, including the month-end close process, and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Develop, monitor and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure conformance with regulations and support financial performance monitoring activities.
• Produce KPI reporting and root cause trends in KPI and prepare insights for variance and key meetings, and support the timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial statements.
• An ability to convey complex financial concepts to leaders across the organization
• 3 + years of experience in public accounting
• A passion to help others make informed decisions driven by ROI and storytelling with numbers
• The desire to drive continuous process improvements
• 7+ years of experience in Finance, ideally in a startup environment
• CPA
• A degree in finance, statistics, economics, business or other related fields
• An interest in building out the infrastructure to sustain significant growth while maintaining tight financial controls
• Outstanding Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets
• Experience with Quickbooks
