About The Role

Join our team as the Manager of Software Quality Assurance (QE Manager). In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers while driving modern quality engineering practices across our EHS & ESG software products. You will be responsible for evolving our Quality Engineering capabilities, introducing innovative automation approaches, and embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This position combines technical leadership, people management, and quality strategy.

Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers, creating a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Define and execute the Quality Engineering strategy aligned with product and business objectives, driving alignment across engineering teams.
Remain technically engaged by contributing to automation frameworks, testing approaches, and quality engineering solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Proven experience managing and mentoring Quality Engineering, Software QA, or Test Engineering teams
Improving engineering productivity through AI tools
A passion for engineering excellence and delivering high-quality software
Ability to balance technical delivery with team leadership responsibilities
Experience with API testing, automation, and contract testing in distributed or microservices-based architectures
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Practical experience applying AI tools within software testing or engineering workflows
Strong analytical, reporting, and data visualisation skills, with experience using tools such as Power BI to derive insights from quality metrics and communicate performance trends
Curiosity and enthusiasm for adopting emerging technologies to improve software quality
Understanding of AI-assisted testing approaches, including:
A balance of technical expertise and strong people leadership
The ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive meaningful change
AI-generated test cases and scenarios
Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks using technologies such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
AI-assisted automation development
Automated test optimisation
Experience implementing Quality Engineering strategies across enterprise software products
Strong hands-on experience with software testing and automation
A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation, innovation, and AI-enabled quality practices
Intelligent defect analysis
Experience defining and measuring quality metrics and KPIs
The ability to inspire teams while remaining hands-on and technically credible
Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies
AI & Emerging Technology Experience
Experience delivering enterprise SaaS applications
Experience within regulated industries such as EHS, ESG, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Audit, Legal, Finance, or Healthcare software
Experience testing complex cloud-based applications and distributed systems
Experience with performance, security, accessibility, or reliability testing
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Xray, or similar
Knowledge of the Tricentis tool suite (including Tosca and qTest) would be advantageous
ISTQB certification (or equivalent Quality Engineering certification) is desirable
Relevant AI-focused learning or certifications (such as Anthropic Academy or equivalent Generative AI training) would be an advantage
