About The Role
Join our team as a Communications Configuration Specialist, where you will support the technical production, setup, and quality review of member-facing communications across print and digital channels. You will work closely with Project Managers, Tech Implementation, and external vendors to ensure communications are accurate and launch-ready. This role requires strong organizational skills, experience in communications production, and proficiency in HTML.
- Review incoming communication requests and gather the required data and source documents needed to prepare member-facing communications.
- Prepare and update configurable communication elements within approved print and email templates, including HTML-based email template edits and setup.
- Organize and monitor communications to ensure the correct materials are delivered to the appropriate audience and program.
- Read, Write and Speak English & Spanish fluently
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
- 2+ years of experience in communications production, print communications, email production, template configuration, or a related operational role
- Comfort using spreadsheets, workflow tools, and general business software applications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Strong proofreading and quality assurance skills
- HTML experience required for email/template updates and setup
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow through with cross-functional partners and vendors
- Experience with print vendors, proof review, or print production workflows
- Familiarity with email communications that are configured within a broader platform such as Iterable
- Healthcare experience is a plus
- Experience supporting regulated or operationally complex member communications
- Takes pride in polished, detail-oriented work because member-facing errors have real impact
- Can work independently within defined processes and knows when to escalate
- Stays organized and accurate when handling multiple deadlines at once
- Has experience catching errors before something went to a client, vendor, or member
- Communicates proactively when something is unclear or when a timeline is at risk
