Staff Engineer (Frontend Applications)

Aechelon Technology is seeking a Staff Engineer, Frontend Applications to design and build high-performance frontend applications for their simulation platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in frontend application development, experience building responsive and scalable applications, and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs. The role involves collaborating with UI/UX designers, optimizing applications for speed and security, and providing technical guidance to other engineers on the team. • Contribuer à la conception et à la construction d'applications frontend faciles à utiliser et performantes, en utilisant des frameworks modernes tels que React et TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating frontend applications with backend services
• Ability to work with export controlled technology
• Experience building performant, interactive web or desktop applications
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of software development experience, including significant experience building complex frontend applications
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to technical initiatives and influence implementation decisions
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend application development
• Experience with real-time communication patterns, including WebSockets or similar technologies
• Experience building desktop applications with Electron
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and frontend optimization techniques
• Strong programming skills with C and C++ languages
• Experience developing applications for simulation, visualization, or other performance-sensitive technical environments
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a team’s technical growth
