About The Role

Join SeQura, a leading European fintech specializing in flexible payment solutions. As a Treasury Specialist, you will manage our Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and Debt Facilities, ensuring compliance with servicing fee terms and overseeing daily treasury operations. You will also lead the implementation and operation of our Treasury Management System (TMS), reconcile cash flows, and prepare accounting entries. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in English and Spanish.

  • Manage the daily treasury operations of all Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and Debt Facilities, ensuring full segregation of SPV vs corporate funds.
  • Lead the rollout and configuration of the Treasury Management System (TMS) for all SPVs/facilities, continuously improving automations, dashboards, and integrations.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external parties, communicating fluently in English and Spanish, and ensuring compliance with the Servicing Fee terms defined in each SPV’s transaction documents.
  • The ideal candidate thrives in an unstructured, data-intensive environment, is comfortable working across departments, and has hands-on experience implementing and running treasury management platforms — ideally EMBAT — and a working understanding of securitization or warehouse funding structures
  • Experience preparing accounting journal entries for financial instruments and intercompany or service-fee arrangements
  • Solid command of Power Query for data transformation, source integration and automated reporting (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems — Oracle NetSuite or equivalent (a plus)
  • Effective communicator — translates complex financial data into clear explanations for internal and external audiences
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish, written and spoken (both required)
  • Understanding of waterfall mechanics, eligibility criteria and servicer reports (a strong plus)
  • Strong usage of Claude or other AI tools to support automation and analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
  • Exposure to SPVs, securitizations, warehouse facilities or similar funding structures (strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with a Treasury Management System — EMBAT strongly preferred; other platforms also considered
  • Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and zero tolerance for data errors
  • Able to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines, including month-end and waterfall payment dates
  • Proven track record implementing and operating a TMS, managing daily treasury operations, and reconciling and analyzing economic events end-to-end
  • 5+ years in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Structured Finance or a related financial function, ideally in fintech, banking or a high-growth scale-up
  • Collaborative, proactive and comfortable in a cross-functional environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel: financial modeling, pivot tables and complex formulas
